Born in Dublin – now resident in Kilkenny - Christine is a freelance director of plays and musicals, whose work has been seen in theatres all over Ireland. Her production of the new musical drama, Find Your Way Home, was staged at New York’s Symphony Space, Broadway, following a short US tour.
She is Owner/Artistic Director of Red Alchemy Theatre Company, which has a special interest in showcasing emerging theatre talent. Its most recent production was Vincent – a play about the life of Van Gogh - which has just completed a hugely successful national tour.
Christine is also Founder/Musical Director of female vocal group, Alchemy, who provide exclusive private and corporate entertainment (www.alchemyvox.com). Eclectic in both personality and repertoire, theirs is a fusion of contemporary and classic sounds - it’s feminine, poetic and strong.
In her private vocal practice, Christine has a proven track record in helping singers and actors achieve success; many of her students now enjoy successful careers in the West End and New York, as well as in Ireland. She was a founding member of the faculty at the Irish College of Music Theatre (IMT) in the Conservatory of Music and Drama, and is a member of the British Voice Association.
Christine moves fluidly from one medium to another with energy and enthusiasm, and is constantly seeking new challenges for her creative skills.
